This tutorial will show you how to decorate banners using the designs from a Loom, the four banner pattern items crafted with an Oxeye Daisy, a Creeper Head, a Wither Skeleton Skull, and an Enchanted Golden Apple, and the Globe and Snout banner patterns acquired from villagers and Piglin Bastions! We explore the limits of banner crafting, the techniques you can use to create more interesting shapes, how to remove layers from a banner using a cauldron, and how to design banners outside of Minecraft so you know what you're doing in-game! Finally, we take a look at adding banners to shields, a feature which is currently only available in Java Edition, and choose a permanent banner to apply to my Mending & Unbreaking shield!
